Welcome to St Mary & St Margaret

St Mary and St Margaret has a thriving and inclusive all-age congregation from many walks of life.
While many people come from the local community – the “village setting” of Castle Bromwich with its Hall and Gardens – many others are drawn from further afield and from different Christian traditions.
Our Parish Communion service combines a vibrant blend of good music, contemporary and more traditional liturgies and accessible preaching explores scripture in the context of our challenging post-modern society.
We do not shy away from the difficult issues of our times.

Mission, Outreach, Thanksgiving and celebration are at the heart of our ethos. This is reflected in the Parish Communion, the celebration of God's gift of creation. Celebration is also at the heart of our active social life, fellowship and study and prayer groups. Our well-used Community Hall opened in January 2013 and is helping us to grow as a Church, providing space for alternative worship, children and youth work and as a place to reach out to our local community.

Whatever your background or previous experience of Christian worship, you will find a warm welcome at St Mary and St Margaret. Children are especially welcome and we have a thriving children’s and youth ministry. There are groups for primary school children (Wayfayrers) 3-11, the Youth Group, 11-18, as well as opportunities for young people to be involved as servers and in our choir.

Organ Appeal
Music has been an important part of the worship at Castle Bromwich parish church for hundreds of years. We're now trying to raise some £70,000 to save our historic organ for many years to come.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SAFEGUARDING: Please click here for the contact details of our parish safeguarding co-ordinator and policies.
(We are currently redesigning some areas of our website so "Safeguarding" information is currently under the FAQs tab. FAQs are now in the "Life Events" Section. Thank you for your patience until we are able to get the tabs changed).
We aim to be a living, vibrant, relevant witnessing church at the centre of the community.
