Welcome to St Mary & St Margaret

St Mary and St Margaret has a thriving and inclusive all-age congregation from many walks of life. While many people come from the local community – the “village setting” of Castle Bromwich with its Hall and Gardens – many others are drawn from further afield and from different Christian traditions. Our Parish Communion service combines a vibrant blend of good music, contemporary and more traditional liturgies and accessible preaching explores scripture in the context of our challenging post-modern society. We do not shy away from the difficult issues of our times.

Mission, Outreach, Thanksgiving and celebration are at the heart of our ethos. This is reflected in the Parish Communion, the celebration of God's gift of creation. Celebration is also at the heart of our active social life, fellowship and study and prayer groups. We have now opened our much needed Community Hall to house our growing needs and to better provide for the local community.

Whatever your background or previous experience of Christian worship, you will find a warm welcome at St Mary and St Margaret. Children are especially welcome and we have a thriving children’s and youth ministry. There are groups for primary school children (Wayfayrers) 3-11, the Youth Group, 11-18, as well as opportunities for young people to be involved as servers and in our choir.

We aim to be a living, vibrant, relevant witnessing church at the centre of the community.
